Bergamot Essential Oil blends nicely with neroli, cypress, juniper, geranium, rose, ylang ylang and other florals. It is a favorite of perfumers.

Cold pressed Bergamot Essential Oil is phototoxic. For leave-on topical formulations, IFRA and Essential Oil Safety Edition 2 by Robert Tisserand and Rodney Young recommend a dermal maximum of 0.4%. If exceeding this guideline in topical formulations, it is recommended that sun and UV exposure is avoided for at least 12 hours.
