This delightfully spicy CO2 extract is comprised of approximately 90% essential oil including approximately 45-75% eugenol, 5-25% eugenyl acetate, 10-20% beta caryophyllene and up to 5% humulene. It is light-medium yellow in color and is fluid at room temperature. It possesses a longer shelf life than does Clove Bud Essential Oil because the production of the essential oil exposes the oil to a great deal of heat during production. The CO2 extraction process uses virtually no heat and thus allows for a longer shelf life.
Clove Bud CO2 Select Extract is wonderful to use year-round, but it is especially lovely for seasonal use during the Autumn and Winter seasons.
