Persian Lime Essential Oil

Persian Lime Essential Oil, Citrus latifolia, is cold pressed from the peels of Persian limes.

It possesses a fresh, citrusy aroma that is unmistakably lime.

Persian Lime Essential Oil offers similar therapeutic benefits to that of Lemon Oil, and can be used in much the same way. As with Lemon Essential Oil, Persian Lime Oil is highly versatile and blends well with other citrus essential oils and oils in the mint, floral, wood, herbaceous and spice families.

Persian Cold pressed Lime Essential Oil is phototoxic. For leave-on topical formulations, IFRA and Essential Oil Safety Edition 2 by Robert Tisserand and Rodney Young recommend a dermal maximum of 0.7%. If exceeding this guideline in topical applications, it is recommended that you avoid sun or UV exposure for at least 12 hours.
