The Douglas Fir, Pseudotsuga menziesii, is a majestic evergreen conifer that is most commonly found on the Pacific (Western) side of the United States and Canada (British Columbia). The state of Oregon has denoted the Douglas Fir as its official state tree.

Praan Naturals Organic Douglas Fir Hydrosol is meticulously produced by expert artisanal distillers who distill specifically for the hydrosol. It is not distilled as a byproduct of essential oil production. Distilled using copper alembic stills, our Organic Douglas Fir Hydrosol possesses a light yet invigorating, crisp coniferous aroma. It does not have the unpleasant "still note" that hydrosols can have when they are produced using stainless steel equipment. Distillation using copper stills may also help the hydrosol be more resistant to microbial growth.
